The $25,000 donation was a result of Jel Sert's social media fundraiser on Facebook where the company donated $1 for every new fan who joined their Fla-Vor-Ice and Otterpops page during the promotion period.  Through the overwhelming support of their consumers and the childhood cancer community, the pages reached 25,000 new fans in just 10 days.
